Facebook Group Participation Question Examples
Good group questions are short enough to answer quickly and specific enough to tell you something useful. Choose questions based on the job they need to do.
Questions that reveal intent
“What would make this group useful for you right now?” “What are you trying to improve this month?” “What made you look for a community about this topic?”
Questions that qualify fit
“Which best describes your role?” “Are you doing this for yourself or for clients?” “Which stage are you at right now?” Use multiple choice when you need easy sorting.
Questions for rules and expectations
Keep rule acknowledgement simple. Do not use a rules question as a disguised marketing pitch.
Questions that offer email follow up
“Want the starter checklist? Leave the best email for me to send it to.” “Would you like the weekly tips that go with this group? If yes, add your email below.” The wording should explain the benefit and the follow up.
