How Group Convert Works
Group Convert sits between the Facebook Group member request process and the place where you organize lead information. The basic idea is to collect useful answers while you process new members, then move that information into a spreadsheet based system.
Step 1: set useful participation questions
Your questions determine whether the saved data is useful. Ask what you genuinely need for moderation, segmentation, or an optional follow up. If you request an email address, explain what the person will receive.
Step 2: connect the extension
Group Convert is sold as a Chrome extension for Facebook Group owners. Its plans are tied to a published number of groups and Excel Sheet integrations.
Step 3: process new members
As you work through member requests, the extension is designed to help preserve information that would otherwise require manual copying. The merchant also advertises prepared messages for members as they enter.
Step 4: use the saved information
The spreadsheet is the beginning of the useful part, not the end. You can use organized answers to understand why people join, identify recurring needs, and route people into a follow up process when they have agreed to it.
Where problems usually start
Automation cannot rescue weak questions or unclear consent. Decide what each field is for before you collect it. That keeps the sheet useful and makes the member experience easier to explain.
